Sevkavnipiagroprom is one of the largest consultancies globally, working with blue chip clients and partners to deliver high profile, complex projects around the globe. We offer a multi disciplinary service providing innovative solutions in all areas of the built environment. The building services team of Sevkavnipiagroprom is an intrinsic part of this strategy and is currently involved in some exciting projects across a defined number of market sectors. The incumbent will be accountable for leading the delivery of electrical design work and co-coordinating with other internal design teams. The individual will be responsible for overseeing the work of others and ensuring junior team members are given guidance and advice where appropriate. The incumbent will be responsible for: • To manage and co-ordinate the efficient production of documentation for a number of projects simultaneously. • Staff management. • Electrical building services engineering design, from concept design through to construction issue and post contract site support. • Carrying out design calculations on a variety of buildings i.e. residential, commercial, educational, leisure facilities, industrial etc. • Design according to intrnational utilities rules, regulations and design guides and obtain necessary statutory approvals. • Preparing technical specifications. • Preparing drawings for drafting by in-house CAD team. • Instruct CAD operators in all project related matters and responsible for the checking of all CAD works done. • Coordinate with Architects, Structural Engineers and Mechanical Engineers and any other external design consultant. • Coordinate with, instruct and supervise Electrical Engineers and AutoCAD Technicians. Requirements: The ideal candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge: • Have a proven track record in high quality design projects • Experience in design projects of 12 years or more after BS graduated • Be conversant with current high quality design practice and design methods • Be conversant with Electrical design software packages • Have a reasonable working knowledge of high voltage distribution • Have a proven track record working with high profile architectural practices and blue chip clients • An excellent communicator in written, graphical and spoken format • Be a team player able to motivate people and inspire confidence • Be generally familiar and conversant with the requirements for LEED certification For applicants to be considered for this post they should be Degree qualified in a relevant engineering specialism i.e. BSc Electrical Engineering. |
